We create software for small companies using Delphi2006 and Firebird 2.0
Usage of Firebird
The applications (windows based and internet webservices) are used by 1 to 10 users and the databases are created and maintained by the Delphi program.
The size of the databases start with 2 Mb and grow to 250 Mb after some time.
Why we use Firebird
Why we use Firebird:
- We like Firebird because it's a good, stable database and it's free.
- We create programs for a small budget and Firebird fits in this picture.
- There is a lot of information to be found on the internet.
